Nature,
precisely kept.
A living, breathing piece of art for your home or office: a smart terrarium system that manages its own climate, light and water. Bring your own glass, or wait for ours.
- Sensing
- 10+ environmental readings
- Automation
- 7 managed systems
- Library
- 350+ eco profiles
-
It manages the conditions
Climate, light and water managed continuously, not a nudge to do it yourself.
-
It notifies you
You hear about it when something drifts out of range, and you are asked to act only when something genuinely needs you there.
-
It works offline
Everything that keeps the ecosystem alive runs on the device, with or without the internet. Connect it and the app handles the rest.
Lighting
Sunrise, right on time.
Full-spectrum light that lifts slowly each morning and eases away at dusk, so the ecosystem keeps a rhythm instead of a switch.
The instrument
Seven systems, one Nexus.
All the work that keeps a terrarium alive sits inside and stays coordinated, so the glass is still what you notice.
- 01
Temperature
Keeps temperature inside a set band, and moves air if it drifts.
- 02
Humidity
A self misting system that lifts humidity gently from above, not in bursts.
- 03
Rainfall
Rain falls on a schedule the plants actually keep, and that is how the whole planting is watered.
- 04
Daylight
Full-spectrum grow lights that rise and settle with the day.
- 05
Ambience
Accent lighting for the room, kept apart from the growing light.
- 06
Ventilation
An automated vent that opens when the air needs a change.
- 07
Reservoir
Tracks its own water and warns you before it runs dry.
Water
Rain arrives when it should.
Watering a terrarium by hand is guesswork. Too much and it sours. Too little and it browns. This does it in small, measured amounts, on the rhythm the plants already know.
- Misting
- A self misting system that lifts humidity gently from above, so the leaves are not shocked.
- Rainfall
- When the profile calls for rain, it rains, and that is how the planting is watered.
- Reservoir
- Onboard and watched, and it warns you before the level runs low.
Sensing
It watches, so you don't have to.
Ten kinds of reading across air, soil and water, and more as you add soil modules. Taken continuously, kept as history, and turned into a message only when something actually needs you there.
Every sensor reports to a single verdIQore Nexus, which reads them together instead of one at a time. That is what turns a pile of numbers into something that acts on its own.

verdIQore BioSight
Look inside from anywhere.
A camera sits in the lid and looks down over the planting. Watch it live from your desk, from work or from another country, catch morning light coming up, and take photos, videos and timelapses whenever you want them.
- Live remote viewing from anywhere*
- Photos and video when you want them
- Timelapse: weeks of growth packed into a few seconds
- Every capture stored in a gallery
Remote viewing needs a live internet connection.
vIQ
The part that pays attention.
vIQ is the verdIQore AI agent. It watches every reading the system takes, turns those numbers into something worth reading, and tells you what it noticed, not what to think.
It runs on vIQ-Iris™, our proprietary AI model. Made for this work and for nothing else.
-
Available now
Ask it, in plain language
It can read back through the history of your own terrarium, so you can ask what happened overnight, when the mist last ran, or whether this week looks like last week.
-
Available now
It looks in, every day
Watching growth, watching key health indicators for anything out of the ordinary, and noticing plants that have appeared since last time.
-
Coming
It takes more off your hands
vIQ is where the judgement sits, and over time it will shape more of what the terrarium does. Changes come to you first, so nothing moves without you knowing why.
Plant journals
Every plant you own, gathered in one place.
Each plant gets a journal of its own, whether it lives in a verdIQore smart terrarium, a pot on the windowsill, or a grow bed outside. You write the entries. The app keeps them in order and works out what they add up to.
The tags that open them are a product on their own. See plant tags.
- One list for everything you grow
- A plant inside a terrarium sits next to a plant on a shelf across the room. The app does not treat them as different things.
- Growth, drawn out for you
- Heights you record become a line you can read at a glance. A good spring and a stalled year look different, instead of reading as a column of numbers.
- What needs doing next
- Worked out from your own watering interval and the last time you actually logged one, so it tells you what is due instead of nagging on a fixed schedule.
- vIQ has read all of it
- Ask about any plant you own and the answer comes from that plant's own journal, not from general advice about the species.
The app
In your pocket, not in your way.
Opens in a browser and installs like an app. Nothing to fetch from a store, and nothing you have to keep updated.
- See
- Live conditions, and the history behind them.
- Adjust
- Nudge one setting, or switch the whole profile.
- Know
- A message only when something drifts out of range.
Fit
Bring your own glass.
We make the system, not the tank. If you already keep a terrarium, this is the part that makes it look after itself. Measure the opening and in about ten seconds you will know whether it fits.
A cube, a cylinder, a hexagon, or the odd-shaped one you fell for years ago all work. The opening is the only thing that has to be right.
-
Square or rectangular
24 cm9.5 in
Both the width and the depth of the opening need to be at least this.
-
Round, hexagonal, anything else
33 cm13 in
Take the measurement across the narrowest point of the opening.
- Hub
- 17.5 x 17.5 cm6.9 x 6.9 in The controller itself, resting on top.
- Light panel
- 23 x 23 cm9.1 x 9.1 in The smallest clear area the panel needs beneath it.
A verdIQore terrarium of our own is coming. We began with the thinking layer, because that was the part nobody had solved.
Eco profiles
350+ ecosystems, already worked out.
A profile is a complete set of growing conditions for a particular kind of environment, made, tested and tuned, so you choose what you want to grow instead of researching what it needs.
What a profile sets
- Day temperature
- Night drop
- Humidity band
- Light hours
- Light intensity
- Misting frequency
- Substrate moisture
- Ventilation cycle
- Seasonal shift
...and several more, held per profile.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
When can I buy one?
Join the waitlist and you will be first to know when we launch. No payment is taken and there is nothing to cancel.
How much will it cost?
Not announced yet. We would rather stay quiet than put a figure on it that we might have to change.
Does it need an internet connection?
Climate, light and watering run on the device itself, so it keeps working if the connection drops. The internet is what lets you check in from elsewhere and get alerts.
How much looking after does it need?
Refilling the reservoir, and the odd trim. It manages the conditions, not the gardening, and a terrarium that's genuinely alive will keep changing. That's the point of it.
What can I grow in it?
Over 350 profiles are built in, covering everything from single-species setups to full mixed biomes. You choose what you want to grow; the profile sets the conditions, and the library keeps growing.
Can I use my own settings?
Yes. Profiles are a starting point, not a cage, and every parameter can be adjusted.
